DiCianni Graphics History

Company founder Pete DiCianni hatched his first bright idea back in the '80s when he decided to work his way through college by running a printshop out of his parents' garage. Pete began studying the art and craft of printing at York High School, where he ran the school's in-plant printing facility during his junior and senior years. He then moved on to Triton Junior College, and, finally, Elmhurst College, where he earned his marketing management degree. By then, Pete's Printshop was growing so rapidly that he moved into a space that was big enough to accommodate his booming business.

Graphics and design just came naturally.
Printing wasn't the only thing that kept the business growing. Pete soon discovered that his printshop was a natural outlet for his creativity, so he started offering increasingly sophisticated graphics and design work. And his growing client list enthusiastically responded, helping Pete's Printshop evolve into DiCianni Graphics.

Offering full-service marketing communications capabilities came next.
As always, Pete kept thinking big, so he recruited some of the brightest, most experienced creative talent from Chicago's best advertising agencies. Today, his staff includes people with decades of experience from the likes of Leo Burnett and Foote, Cone and Belding. He also hired the Director of Marketing Communications from Rockwell Electronic Commerce. And, he brought together a gifted crew of Web designers and developers, too. Thanks to Pete's vision and leadership, every client at DiCianni Graphics can now get everything they need in printing, graphics design and marketing communications, all under one roof. It's like having the best of both worlds: The talent and capabilities of a full-service, Michigan Avenue ad agency at suburban prices.
